Seal Depth: 4mm
Brush Depth: 6mm
Smoke Seal brush colours available: Grey, Black or White.
Alternative seals: Black Neoprene Rubber draught seals in single or twin blade.

Description
Intumescent smoke seals for fire door assemblies
Astroflame smoke seals provide a permanent barrier to smoke - particularly important as smoke fumes travel faster and further than the fire itself. They also have acoustic and thermal applications.
For fitting into a rebate to either the leaves or the frame of a door these seals are manufactured using an intumescent graphite based fireseal, contained within a PVC sleeve, fitted with a cold smoke seal.
All Astroflame fire and smoke seals are manufactured with a self-adhesive backing tape as for quick and easy location into the rebate..
The smoke seal material can be either a nylon brush pile or a black neoprene rubber blade. The standard brush pile is 6mm deep but a deeper pile is available (grey pile only). The neoprene blade smoke seal can be either single blade or twin blade.
Smoke Seal Certificaton:
Tested for 30 minutes with 10mm and 15mm intumescent smoke seals to BS 476 part 22 & 31.1.
Tested for 60 minutes with 20mm 25mm and 30mm intumescent smoke seals to BS 476 part 22 & 31.1.

Please Note:
Each fire door will have its own test evidence from the door manufacturer.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the seals are
fully compliant with the relevant test evidence.
For certified fire, smoke, draught and acoustic sealing in a single seal we suggest Quadseal.

Storage and disposal
ASTRO Intumescent Smoke Seals should be stored indoors.
No shelf life is giving as the fire seals will not deteriorate in storage.
